Darker pigmented “ROLLA-RAY” solar films filter more VLT (Visual Light Transmission), allowing less light to pass through the film. Conversely, lighter films with higher VLT allow more light to pass through the film. See Product performance parameters.

The “ROLLA-RAY” solar film is not designed to and will not create a “cinema darkness” effect. All films are transparent and designed to allow varying degrees of VLT to pass through the film.

On overcast days with a low incidental light transmission through the glazing, simply roll the away to a desired height which allows for sufficient light to pass into the room without optical discomfort.
